United Biscuits (UK) Ltd, one of the UK’s leading snacking manufacturers is recruiting for a successful Own Label co-ordinator to manage the launch of new and redesigned biscuits.Context
The role covers inter-departmental relationships across the company.
Adaptability with a proactive approach is required to manage projects under a portfolio on Biscuits.
RTB is a fast moving sector & hence requires an organised approach to delivering projects on time and the need to juggle many projects. Organisation and attention to detail are critical.
Timely delivery of Retailer Brands pack change projects to create a strong positive impression of UB’s overall service delivery to our customers.
Key Outputs
Requires the coordination of several departments within UB in providing a successful Product to Market process.
Requires knowledge of delivering packaging for Biscuits whilst utilising external repro house resources, printers & customers.
Create timelines and maintain Overall RTB project tracking document & send out weekly status reports to factories, Technical Services & Originations & a company wide link document
Monthly audit of projects to raise any issues with those at risk
Maintain a factory performance review document with a view to team reporting
Coordinate between departments & build relationships to ensure an effective product to market process.
Ensure good dialogue with internal account teams to manage pricing, coding and forecasts correctly
Organise & delegate tasks according to priority
Completion of tasks across all departments in a timely fashion
Use SAP to monitor packaging run out dates & minimise packaging write-off
Use SAP to create & extend Workflows so that forecasts can be made
Illustrate a proactive approach to project management taking care to create new initiatives & follow through existing ones
Ensure projects are quoted for and tracked against spend.
Key Relationships
Conduct weekly meetings with all relevant stakeholders from:
Factories - Factory Technical personnel & MRP Data Maintainers for coordinating 1st production & artwork checking
Technical QA - Technical personnel for spec & artwork checking
Originations - Ensuring communication & lead times are adhered to
Account Teams - BDMs & Account Coordinators to ensure any discrepancies are reported & communicated back to the customer
Decision-making Authority
Organise & prioritise workload of all concerned departments focus on priorities
Be able to coordinate & organise projects with effective decision making through taking the initiative
Escalates any issues to relevant Managers
The role reports into the Marketing Manager, Retailer Brands
