This fast growing supplier of gifts, toys, cosmetics, soft accessories and jewellery to major UK and European High Street Retailers is looking for an Account Manager to join their fun yet professional team.

Account Manager - Retail - The Role

*Assist the Chief Operating Officer in developing and agreeing an operating plan for the profitable growth of the Brands business unit.
*Support the planning and implementation of efficient processes and systems within the Retail business unit.
*Update Sales Director on market research and all areas of new opportunity within existing clients.
*Increase revenue by identifying and growing existing business opportunities.
*Work with Sales Director to prepare and deliver new client presentations, secure new business and manage the on-going relationship.
*Identify new sectors for Sales team to approach.
*Assist on product development where needed
*Work as part of a team to ensure that support is given to all areas of the business.
*Provide total customer satisfaction to clients by working on all aspects of the development, approval and reorder process.
*Manage the critical path process, for multiple projects, so key deadlines are met.
*Brief projects to Asian team and follow up with VC calls and emails.
*Maintain a clear and accurate log of activity on each account using internal processes.
*Liaise with the Creative team to ensure that product offer is commercially viable and technically achievable meeting aggressive cost, quality and logistical targets.
*Take full accountability of the sample administrative approval process and therefore ensure that records are kept up to date so you can track when samples are expected, received, sent to buyer and approved.
*Achieve agreed sales and profits targets on all accounts.
*Work closely with COO to allocate workloads to ensure appropriate distribution of projects.
*Ensure each member of your team takes ownership and responsibility for allocated projects.
*Work with HR Director to identify, interview and recruit high calibre staff.
*Understand market trends and tailor these to individual customer needs.
*Understand the importance of quality control through all stages of product development.
