Job Description
a. Assist the Head Messenger in the efficient running of the Mail Office
b. Deliver/collect mail throughout the Station and at Royal Mail sorting office
c. Sort and prepare mail for dispatch internally and externally
d. Drive vehicles to carry out duties on and off Station
e. Be familiar with the duties of the Head Messenger, deputising as required
f. Attend an airfield driving brief and use hand held radio
g. Update an excel spreadsheet on a regular basis
UK driving license and ability to lift up to 30Kg is essential. Working knowledge and understanding of IT systems is desirable. The post requires individuals to be outside in all weathers.
