Information and Opportunties Worker
Age UK Redbridge is currently seeking an ''Information and Opportunities Worker'' (30 hours per week) for a new project in Barking and Dagenham that will involve providing information and advice to older people and their carers to enable them to live healthier lives.

You will be part of a team providing Advice & Information from our Barking office and other premises.

We are looking for a candidate with at least one year's experience of providing information and advice and experience of working with older people and their carers.

You will also need an understanding of welfare rights and benefits system together with numeracy skills in order to calculate benefits and have knowledge of housing,health and community care services and associated rights and benefits.

Ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records and the use of monitoring and evaluation systems is also essential. A knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the Charity Log CRM system would be useful.
