Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within UK Hire for a Driver to deliver and collect equipment on time, safely and efficiently whilst dealing with all customer requirements at the point of delivery/collection.

Main Responsibilities

You will ensure compliance to safe, legal driving requirements i.e. speed limits, loading, tachograph and also undertake regular vehicle checks to reduce breakdowns. You will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are dispatched correctly before leaving the depot and that all relevant paperwork is completed before leaving the customer premises. You will operate with the full use of the PDA system at all times.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will come from a similar background and ideally have some knowledge of hire equipment. You should be familiar with working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining safety standards at all times.
