The Role
Kingston University is yours to discover. You will open up new worlds of learning as you support and undertake research in an important issue for healthcare as part of a vibrant research community. Your work will focus on supporting research grant applications and writing high quality papers for peer reviewed academic journals on the healthcare workforce, nursing workforce, employment opportunities, and employability. Alongside increasing the faculty research income, you will disseminate research findings and foster a culture of research and innovation in staff and postgraduate students.
The Person
To succeed, you will need to be a researcher with experience of undertaking funded research within the health service backed up by a minimum of a masters in nursing or a healthcare relevant discipline. Your expertise in the key issues relating to the organisation and delivery of the healthcare workforce will be matched by a growing track record of developing research proposals and grant applications. You’ll also have the ability to contribute to all stages of ongoing studies, including ethics submission, data collection/analysis and dissemination, together with a comprehensive understanding of methodological approaches and analytical methods.
