Responsibilities We have a number of casual opportunities throughout the summer season (April – November 2014) to join the team based at our recreation centre in Rutland Water as a Lifeguard and Senior Lifeguard. Set in 4200 acres of open countryside, Rutland Water Park is the central rural attraction in England's smallest county of Rutland and offers activities for all the family including various Watersports activities. Requirements This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well being of the many visitors to Rutland. You will supervise the security and safety of the public, ensuring their enjoyment in all areas of the facilities and carry out rescues as required. You will also assist in the preparation and operation of events and activities. As a Senior Lifeguard your role would also include the supervision of other Lifeguards. If you wish to register your interest in joining us, you will hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and have previous experience in a similar role as well as excellent customer service skills. You will also be available for weekend working.
