The Role

A French (Fluent, speaking and written) candidate is needed for a temporary position as a General Ledger Assistant, with good solid expereince of cash books maintantence and reconciliations for France and UK companies. The role will be an immediate start so the candidate needs to be immediately avalible to start.

Your Profile

A Native French or fluent french speaking immediately avalible candidate with solid general ledger experience. Ideally someone who is part-qualified and has a good few years expereince behind them who is happy to join a very busy growing finance team who can hit the ground running to help with the very busy company.

The Company

The company are based in Hemel Hempstead and is an internationally growing company which has recently taken over a number of companies across Europe and is looking for assistants with the General Ledger. A growing finance team with a growing successful company.

Salary & Benefits

The role is a temporary position and will be paid hourly at a rate of £15 plus holiday pay.

As the Soft Accessories Technologist, you will work with specialist vendors to control all fit execution, construction and testing process whilst providing the technical support to the Product Development and Design teams.

Technologist - The Role:

*Maintain the consistency of fit, models size, how to measure guides to maintain the Brand fit for all products and provide information to design.
*Own and manage pre-production fittings; establishing the fit calendar and booking models.
*Undertake product safety and risk analysis upon technically challenging products, whilst maintaining the product design aesthetic requirement/s and creation of tech packs within PLM
*To attend prototype fittings and vendor pass-off meetings, providing technical support to design and PD
*Own the specific technical elements of the PLM Tech Pack; creating and managing the construction details with the aid of CADs and management of size charts and grading.
*Direct and manage the testing process, ensuring products are meeting all requested standards and ensuring product labeling reflects correct compositions
*Management of the critical path process, ensuring approval of product for the required production date
*Research and development of product fit and construction method.
*When required, to support by travelling with Design and Production to Vendors etc.
*Providing a liaison with Vendors on all aspects of fit, construction, technical and quality related issues.

Technologist - The Candidate:

*Experience working as a product technologist in manufacturing or retailer.
*Experience working across soft accessories including leather.
*Understanding of Manufacturing Technology and Product testing and test methods.
*Product safety and risk assessments within Accessories and /or Childrenswear.
*PLM/PDM experience, MS Office skills and Adobe illustrator.
*Experience within patterns, grading and fits.
*Manufacturing experience is preferred.
*Ability to influence & manage situations.
*Self-starting and able to prioritise and focus workload.
