Situated in the heart of the town is Richmond Theatre. Richmond Theatre is one of the most attractive of all the Frank Matcham theatres and has established a reputation for quality and diversity in its programme, presenting drama, record breaking musicals, opera, dance and family entertainment each year.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To perform all dressing duties during performances as required by the production.
  • To carry out costume maintenance including washing, drying, ironing and repairing costumes in agreement with the incoming company.
  • To take care of all in house equipment and to inform the Technical Manager or Stage Manager of any repairs or replacements required.
  • To on occasion make repairs to the Theatre’s stage drapes or soft furnishings as required.
  • To attend training courses as required in order to further self development.
  • To adhere to all Health and Safety procedures to minimise the risk of injury and accidents.
  • To complete any other delegated task that may assist the company in achieving its business objectives.
