There is a job vacancy to work as a Cook in a Vietnamese restaurant.
We are looking for an ambitious person who loves Vietnamese cuisine. We are seeking an individual who is career driven, professional and a leader who is able to introduce structure and foundations in the kitchen. The restaurant currently seats 150 customers over two floors, with separate menus offering a professional yet casual dining brasserie style setting. The restaurant averages 200 covers per day, with last orders at 11:00pm.
The suitable candidate will control the following tasks: menu planning, stock control, stock and wasting inventory, leading a team of eight chefs, recruitment, in-house training, health and safety, maintaining hygiene, developing new and existing relationships with suppliers. The kitchen opens daily from 11:30am. The successful Sous Chef will be contracted to 45hours per week.
