Our client is a sales and marketing consultancy specialising in the technology industry. They have a wide range of international blue-chip clients across computer hardware, software, storage and security systems. The role would start with a basic salary of £20 + 8k and would be representing global leading technology companies, often new and revolutionary cutting edge technology.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 9.00-5.30pm but with flexibility for the right candidate i.e possibly an earlier start and finish on offer, company is based within a 10 minute walk of Fleet tube-station in Fleet. Also there is free and ample car-parking and easily accessible from Reading, Bracknell, Farnborough and other villages in Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking for Lead Generators / Internal Sales Executives to further develop the company and account-manage some new exciting contracts. As an Internal Sales Executive/Tele-Marketer/Lead Generator successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within the B2B arena and specifically contacting decision makers on a business-business basis.
Typical day would include making 80 outbound calls targeting Managing Directors, IT Managers and Financial Directors, with the view of building a decent pipeline and arranging quality and relevant business appointments for the clients you are representing.
The role is an outbound lead generation so not hard selling or carrying a revenue quota but more gaining quality information on behalf of the client you are representing, therefore the confidence, professionalism, communication skills and being target driven and resilience is key.
Once fully trained the daily target will consist of 1 lead booked on a daily basis which will result in the opportunity to earn an additional £8k on top on the basic salary.
A professional approach coupled with the drive, attitude and genuine desire to consistently exceed targets is key. No previous exposure within a technology background is essential, training and support will be given, just the interest, professionalism and credibility to succeed. There is a fantastic team environment with continued career development opportunities in different directions, i.e appointment setting / Internal Account Management, Team Leading, Project management etc based on performance on offer. Previous success stories include being head-hunted for the client direct and being promoted into Inside Sales working for a global vendor.
