Pre and Post Diagnostic Counsellor

THIS IS A FIXED TERM POST UNTIL 31ST MARCH 2014.

This is a part time post, working in Adult Health services across Powys.

It will generally include work with clients and the professionals associated with Primary and Secondary Mental Health services.

The post will suit a Counsellor, newly qualified Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist interested in, and with prior experience of counselling, providing teaching/training to staff teams, assessing and diagnosing adults on the Autistic Spectrum.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to developments in an emerging clinical field. It will be a chance to deepen skills and knowledge in a highly specialist and developing field.

Supervision and CPD opportunities are available.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
