Job Description

This is a very exiting position at our busy leisure club, with a very high number of members and guests. The  successful candidate will be ensuring that operating standards and legal requirements are adhered to at all times and that guest and members expectations are exceeded and also ensure that all guests and members are treated to a high standard of service with respect to customer contact, facility and enquiries.


Requirements

Experience:
  • Previous experience in customer facing role.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent time management.
  • Standard driven.
  • Customer focused.
  • Able to work shifts.
Education or Certification:
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent.
  • Pool lifeguard qualifications (preferred).


Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that Marriott Brand Standards are adhered to at all times.
  2. To be able to answer the telephone, deal with messages and enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
  3. To receive guests and members on arrival to the required standard and ensure that the appropriate signing in procedure is adhered to at all times.
  4. To have a high levels of guest impact and actively work towards maintaining and achieving a high levels of GSS.
  5. To up sell at every opportunity.
  6. To have an up to date knowledge of the product and facilities within the Slough/ Windsor Marriott Leisure Club.
  7. Take ownership of customer queries and complaints in order to resolve them quickly.
  8. To prepare cash for pay in on a daily basis.
  9. To complete receipts for all monies received and to follow club procedures for cash handling.
  10. To carry out regular checks for cleanliness of all areas in the leisure club.
  11. To carry out all Health and Safety checks.
  12. To operate a proper hand over system between shifts.
  13. To carry out any duties as may be required to ensure the hotel operations are properly maintain and to provide total guest satisfaction
