Housekeeper
We are looking for a flexible, motivated and enthusiastic member of staff to join our team of Housekeeping Assistants within Operational Services at Rookwood Hospital Candidates should have good customer care skills and be able to work on their own and as part of a team. A knowledge of cleaning techniques, COSHH, Health and Safety within the work place and infection control would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be required to work flexibly and have the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment. The successful applicant would be organised and have experience of working in a busy environment where they would be required to prioritise workloads according to schedules.
Yearly appraisals and development plans are in place to ensure staff have correct training to complete their role and promote opportunities to develop. Candidates would benefit from being in receipt of an NVQ in Cleaning Support Services Level 1.
We currently offer enhanced rates of pay for weekend work, the opportunity to join an excellent pensions scheme, 27 annual leave days plus 8 Bank Holidays, totalling 35 days per year.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
