Our Hotel Support Office a modern office located close to Warren Street and Euston Square in central London. This friendly open plan office houses several of the key support functions including Sales, Human Resources, Marketing and Central Revenue. Conveniently located with great transport links the office is the London base for the back office functions of Guoman and Thistle.

The Role
At glh we are undergoing a transformation and as part of this we have introduced the industry leading Customer Development team based at our Central London support office. The role of this team is to enhance the customer experience by using data science to optimise every aspect of the guest journey.
We are currently seeking a Data Protection Manager (Part Time) to work within the Customer Development Team, for two days per week, to advise and support the Company on all aspects of Data Protection, ensuring that the Company is operating in the best interests of our customers and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at all times.
As Data Protection Manager your responsibilities will include assisting with implementing the Groups global data privacy programme. You will work pro-actively with the business to get a detailed understanding of the customer and employee data handled globally by the Group, and will work closely with Legal, Risk/Internal Audit, IT, Sales & Marketing, HR and other relevant teams to identify areas where action is required; initiate projects to take appropriate action measures; ensure actions are completed satisfactorily and, set up check and balance processes to ensure the Group is consistently meeting data protection requirements and regulations.
You will also lead the Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the Groups wider Regulatory Compliance strategy, training programmes (consisting of e-learning and face to face training) and the embedding of good Regulatory Compliance controls throughout the Group).
