£6.44 per hour - Coventry City Council has determined that no-one will be paid less than the current Living Wage rate of £7.45 per hour, this equates to an annual salary of £14,373 (pro rata)Job Role
We are looking to recruit a number of Casual General Assistants to cover School Catering Service on a casual ad-hoc basis.As a casual Employee within our service you will be asked to support our Kitchen Supervisors to ensure the school meal service is delivered to a high standard in schools throughout Coventry to children from the ages of four to eighteen.
The Schools Catering Service operates on a term time only basis preparing and serving school meals Monday to Friday.
You will be required to cover the service in the event of absence or vacancies and must be available for work between 10.30am and 2.00pm. You will undertake, as part of a team under the direction of Senior operatives, general kitchen duties including simple cooking to ensure the provision of school meals and snacks.
