    More and more children are chatting to us online. Children need us when they need us, not when we are available. More and more children need us on weekends and at night. They want a reliable, confidential and accessible service at the time and place that is convenient for them. 

    The work we do in ChildLine is all about a child’s voice and a child’s choice!

    This is where you can help.  As a ChildLine Counsellor you will be providing a helpline service for children and young people contacting ChildLine with a wide range of issues by phone, email or 1-2-1 chat.

    With guidance from ChildLine supervisors, you will work alongside our fantastic volunteers providing high quality responses to every child or young person who contacts ChildLine. 

    To be successful in this role you will need to show us you can engage with children and young people, help them explore their feelings and options in a safe way.  You will also have knowledge of child protection systems and best practice and the ability to recognise child protection risk. 

    What’s in it for you?  You will get excellent training as a counsellor, on-going support and mentoring from your supervisors, generous pension and holiday package. 

    But most importantly, it is an opportunity to change children’s lives! 

    You must be available to work between the following hours on the following days: Tuesday - 1915-2330hrs, Wednesday - 2045 -0030hrs and Saturday - 2015-0030hrs. These shifts are fixed and we will need your ability to commit to these hours.

    What to expect
    Our Packaging team ensures robust packaging processes for inbound and reverse logistics at all our UK plants. In this leading role, you’ll have particular responsibility for analysing current and future data, developing process improvements and managing change. You’ll be vital in implementing packaging processes and driving improvements to ensure robust packaging return processes. Amongst a wide range of other tasks, you’ll use your interpersonal skills as you lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex packaging issues, including supplier cost claims and packaging safety issues. We’ll also require you to liaise with new model launch packaging teams to ensure the flawless execution of new model programmes.

    This is a role where your well developed logistics, manufacturing and supply chain experience will come into their own, and your project management and problem solving skills will establish you as a valued ‘go to’ colleague. A degree in a relevant discipline is essential, as is the ability to deliver multiple tasks to tight deadlines. You’ll be a dynamic, high energy individual, and your knowledge of data analysis will enable you to deliver succinct reports.
