Working on behalf of an expanding London based HE establishment in the heart of London we are recruiting to a Student Welfare & Student Loan Officer position.
This is a dual position and will involve providing a student focused welfare and support service covering personal welfare issues, referring students for the necessary support from other departments within the establishment or from external agencies, handling student disability enquiries and student loan enquiries.
Other duties include contributing to the student’s induction programme, handbooks and a variety of online resources and information for students with the objective of improving the overall student welfare, student support and ultimately student experience. You will also monitor class attendance and liaise with students by phone and email to ensure continued attendance.
Experience of providing student welfare/pastoral support within HE is essential for this role combined with an understanding of student loans/how student loan companies’ work. Experience of using a virtual/managed learning environment is also necessary. Candidates applying without this experience will not be considered.
This is a full time permanent post to start ASAP paying £24k per annum.
