Job purpose
Reporting into the Front of House supervisor you will be required to provide a customer support service and ensure all areas are stocked as and when required. Ensure the health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the floor/s allocated for the day
- Parcels to be delivered to floors and signed for by colleague
- Collection of outgoing courier mail for colleagues
- Preparation of outgoing courier deliveries
- Key operator for all printers to include paper jams
- Ensure all service points are presentable and tidy
- Carry out ordering via the SSP system of standard stock only
- Carry out weekly stock takes
- Ensure all stock areas are clean and tidy and items clearly identifiable
- Ensure meeting rooms are tidy and ready for use when practicable with full check on Fridays
- To ensure all areas of the Holborn Business Support Centre are kept clean and tidy and all areas stocked including paper supply to hubs
- Ensure the Fire safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensure stock is unpacked and available for the week
- Ensure stock cupboards and stock cabinets on each of the upper 8 floors are kept fully stocked and in the correct labelled area
- Updating information boards on floors with printout supplied from internal communications
- To carry out any reasonable task requested by line manager
- Ensure all activities carried out in accordance with statutory requirements and corporate policies, including, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Employment Legislation, ensuring any issues or concerns are reported to your Line Manager
- Switch on Pit stop televisions and report any faults to AV
- Other duties include, cover to the reception/Lounge
- Booking in Visitors
- Covering the lounge in the coordinators absence
- Any other duties required within the visitors lounge, which is requested
- Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in
Knowledge skills & experience
- Previous experience within a similar customer service role
- Strong, confident communication skills
- Ability to negotiate & influence other in a range of situations
- Work accurately under pressure with an attention to detail
- Ability to deal confidentially & effectively with sensitive issues
- Strong self-motivated team player
- Good working knowledge of IT support systems
Person
You will be working closely with our customer therefore, you must possess excellent communication skills, combined with enthusiasm and the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
